Raindance is dedicated to fostering and promoting independent film around the world. Founded in 1992, it combines Raindance Film Festival, a qualifying festival for Oscars®, BAFTA and BIFA, and Raindance Film School. It has been recognised as one the top film festivals in the world by industry publication Variety, and is the largest independent film festival in Europe. Raindance Film School teaches independent filmmaking in evening and weekend classes, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate level.
