Personal profile

Darpan Triboan is currently a Lecturer in Computing (Apprenticeship).

His key areas of research within Artificial Intelligence (AI) is Knowledge Representation and Reasoning within Ambient Assisted Living Systems using real-time multimodal Smart home/ IoT devices and diverse wireless sensor networks (WSNs).

His current research is employing AI in developing a Coupled Climate Modelling to support low-cost housing development in flood-prone areas.

He is also open discuss and work on PhD research projects related to the research areas or similar.

  • Ubiquitous computing, context awareness, personalisation and adaptation.

Currently, he is a Deputy Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Professional (DSTP), Apprenticeship. He is also developing and supporting new level 6 and level 7 Apprenticeship programs.
